Pai Gow’s goal is to share a seven-card hand into a five-card hand known as the Upper Hand, and a two-card hand, which is referred to as the lower hand. Pai Gow Poker is played with 53 cards including one Joker, unlike the traditional poker. The joker can only be used to complete a straight, a flush or a straight flush, otherwise it is treated as an ace. The five-card hand must be the highest five cards. The two-card hand is the final hand, with lower value. The five-card hand is ranked as in poker, poker rules according to the classical, which are listed below. The two-card hand can either be a pair or individual cards from Ace to 5. The highest two-card hand is a pair of aces and the lowest numerical value is 2-3. You can split your hand yourself, or let the computer do it for you, on house-way format.
House Way
The House Way is the rule that describes how the dealer arranges his hand. You can use the House Way on your own hand, then press the door-way button. The front page is for the two card hand and the back is used for the five-card hand.
Place the higher cards that have something in common, in the five card hand and the lower cards in the two-card hand, back to front page.
Royal Flush: Ace, king, queen, jack and 10 all with the same symbol.
Straight Flush: Five cards of the same symbol in a row. Straight Flush wins by the highest card order.
Four of a kind: Four cards of the same numerical value or same with the picture. Depending on the game include some and not others.
Full House: Three in one and two of another, or the ace and face cards are available here. Some games take lower cards, but in casinos if it looks like a family, it’s a full house.
Flush: Any five cards of the same symbol. If the highest cards are the same nominal value, then, the next highest card determines the winner and so on.
Straight: Any five cards in sequence, two or more symbols.
Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same face cards or aces.
Two pairs of cards: two pairs of two face cards or aces. If there is a tie, the unmatched card is the winner between the two notes with the higher number.
One Pair: Two of the same face cards or aces.
High card All five cards, different ranks and icons. The highest card profits. If none of the above can be achieved.
Pai Gow Poker Strategy
Always play a straight or flush in the high hand, all the rest can be manually played in the two cards. Remember the strategy, even high card, even if they are played add up to nothing special, could be smaller in the hand. Hold the best hand of five cards for the game, and smaller for the two card game, but you always try to make something out of two pairs of cards.
Try to beat the dealer, so do it too. If both the dealer’s hands are higher, you lose. If any of the dealer’s hands is higher and the other not, is it a push and your bet is returned, as if you had lost. If both your hands are higher, you win even money on your bet (1 to 1) minus 5% bank commission, as on most web pages and on online casino gaming sites.
If the two card hands, so the five and the two card hand, between you and the dealer the same, the tie goes in favor of the dealer, so the bank made.
